About the Role
As a Hospice Admissions RN at Touchstone Hospice, you are often the first steady presence families encounter during one of the hardest moments of their lives. You guide conversations that require clarity, compassion, and confidence — helping patients and families understand hospice, make informed decisions, and transition into care with dignity and trust.
This role is ideal for an experienced hospice admissions nurse who values autonomy, meaningful patient connection, and a team culture built on respect and collaboration. Your clinical judgment, emotional steadiness, and ability to explain hospice with calm assurance will directly shape each family’s first experience with our care.
At Touchstone, our mission is simple and serious: to bring out the courage in others — in patients, families, and in one another.
At Touchstone Hospice, nurses are trusted to do their work well — without micromanagement and without unnecessary noise. We value autonomy in the field, collaboration behind the scenes, and leaders who understand the emotional weight of hospice admissions.
You’ll find:
We don’t rush families. We don’t rush our nurses. We believe courage shows up in honesty, presence, and follow-through — especially on emotionally heavy days.
If you’re an experienced hospice admissions RN who knows how to meet families where they are and guide them forward with confidence and care, we’d be honored to talk with you.
