Hospice Inpatient - Part time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Certified Nursing Assistant   Hours: 24 hours a week (7pm - 7am)             Certified Nursing Assistant Position Summary: The Inpatient Unit Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for delivery of personal care to hospice patients in the Inpatient Unit within basic policies of the Nursing Services Department and overall department goals.     Organizational Duties & Responsibilities: Supports the mission, vision, values and values in action of Hosparus Health. Facilitates and adheres to policies and procedures and Hosparus Health code of conduct, which includes our values in action. Supports all functions that attain and maintain accreditation and compliance with regulatory agencies. Exhibits effective communication skills including proper use of agency communication systems. Participates in appropriate professional development programs to attain and maintain competency. Effectively manages financial and physical resources to achieve the mission of the organization.   Certified Nursing Assistant Position Qualifications: High school diploma preferred. CNA certification in Kentucky required. One year home health aide or nursing assistant experience preferred. Use of technology-based tools, including electronic medical record, strongly preferred.
