Hospice RN – Structured Team + Predictable Schedule | Pittsburgh Suburbs

If you've worked in hospice or home health, you understand both the reward and the reality of the role.

This opportunity is with a well-established care team serving the Pittsburgh suburbs, designed for nurses who value collaboration, structure, and meaningful patient care—without feeling like they're managing everything alone.

What You Can Expect

  • Consistent weekday schedule (M–F, 8–5)
  • Shared on-call rotation (limited, typically holidays only)
  • Defined coverage areas across Glenshaw, South Park, Sewickley, and nearby communities
  • Team-based approach to care planning and patient support
  • Clear expectations around documentation and time management

The Role

  • Deliver hospice care to patients in their homes
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
  • Manage your daily schedule and patient visits independently
  • Complete charting within established timelines
  • Utilize EMR and mobile tools to stay organized in the field

What Nurses Appreciate About This Type of Team

  • A structured environment with established processes
  • Support from leadership and peers when needed
  • The ability to focus on patient care with clear expectations
  • A more predictable workflow compared to less organized settings

What You Bring

  • Active RN license in Pennsylvania
  • 2+ years hospice experience
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (TruChart or similar is a plus)
  • Reliable transportation for local travel

Location

Serving patients across the Pittsburgh suburban region, including:

  • Glenshaw
  • South Park
  • Sewickley
  • Surrounding areas

A Quick Note

This role is best suited for nurses who appreciate a structured, team-oriented environment and are comfortable managing both patient care and documentation expectations.

If you're looking for a setting where expectations are clear and support is available, this could be a strong fit.
