Responsibilities

As the Hospice Social Worker, your primary responsibility is to contribute meaningfully to the treatment of the patient’s medical conditions or rate of recovery.  To resolve social or emotional problems which are or expected to be an impediment to the patient’s medical condition. 

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.    Current state license in Social Work. 

2.    Experience in working with a diverse population with a wide range of problems (i.e., death and dying, disability, chronic illness, etc.).

3.    BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current preferred.

4.    Current driver’s license, car insurance, car registration, and reliable automobile.

Pay Transparency

Prime Healthcare Hospice and Palliative Care offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $39.00 to $40.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
