As a Hospice Massage Therapist, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ascertain whether individuals would benefit from Massage Therapy.
• Communicates with the IDG regarding the patient’s condition/status and progress toward goals.
• Completes and submits accurate and timely documentation of massage therapy services provided.
• Fulfills the obligation of requested and/or accepted case assignments.
• Provide assessments that will cover a patient's needs and collaborates with IDG to cater the plan of care to the patient..

A few must-haves for Hospice Massage Therapists:

• Massage Therapist with a current and active license/certification in WI
• One year of Massage Therapy experience is required.
• If a state standard exists that is higher than these education/experience requirements, the state standard supersedes these qualifications.
• Hospice massage therapy experience preferred but employer happy to train!
