Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Workers in Whitmore Lake, MI. This role is ideal for those who want to make a positive impact in the lives of others by providing high-quality, personalized care to our clients in their homes. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health, comfort, and independence of individuals who require assistance with daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and companionship to clients in their homes
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Help clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Monitor and report any changes in client’s health or behavior to supervisory staff
• Support clients in adhering to prescribed medication and treatment plans
• Maintain client confidentiality and respect their privacy at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is preferred but not required
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to client needs
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations in Whitmore Lake, MI
• Willingness to undergo background checks 
• Flexible availability to accommodate various client schedules

• Hourly wage: $14.00 - $19.00, paid semi-monthly
