What You'll Do

As a Chaplain, you provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and families throughout their hospice journey. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting spiritual assessments and offering individualized support
• Assisting with bereavement services as needed
• Participating in the interdisciplinary Plan of Care to ensure high‑quality spiritual care
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in patient charts
• Building relationships with community religious and spiritual leaders
• Coordinating access to community spiritual resources for patients and families
• Supporting the development of hospice‑community partnerships

Qualifications

• Ordained minister or chaplain in good standing within your denomination
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong creativity and motivational abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a hospice care team
• Understanding of the grief process for patients and families
• Reliable transportation, valid Oklahoma driver's license, and proof of insurance
