Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice

**Title** Registered Nurse – Hospice/Palliative Care **Schedule** Shift: 8-hour days, 08:00–17:00 (40 hours can be offered) Call: Friday–Sunday on-call rotation 20:00–08:00 **Assignment Details** Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week **Requirements** - Minimum 2 years clinical experience - License: NC or compact license - Certifications: BLS - Experience: Home Health/Hospice and Skilled Nursing - EMR: Epic experience required **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans. - Administer medications and manage pain management strategies. - Educate patients and families about hospice care and end-of-life options. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care. - Support families and patients in achieving comfort and dignity at the end of life. **Compliance / Notes** - Orientation: 40 hours unit orientation required. - Vaccines: Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed). - RTO after booking: Not allowed; call-offs/additional RTO may result in cancellation.
