Registered Nurse (RN) - Palliative Care

**Title** RN – Palliative Care **Schedule** - Shift Type: Days / Nights / Rotating **Requirements** - Minimum 2 years RN experience - Epic charting experience required - Valid RN license (compact or state) required at time of submission - Required certification: BLS - References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager/director **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide comprehensive symptom management for adults and geriatrics with serious, life-limiting illnesses. - Administer pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions for pain, nausea/vomiting, and fatigue. - Manage opioid dosing and PCA pump operations. - Deliver end-of-life care, including bereavement planning and postmortem care. - Facilitate goals-of-care discussions with patients and families, ensuring spiritual and cultural awareness. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. **Compliance / Notes** - Orientation: 72 hours - Candidates must complete fingerprints as soon as the contract is signed. - Return to Office (RTO) required with submission. - Travelers unresponsive/uncooperative with credentialing are at risk of push/cancel.
