Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) - Spokane County, WA

7 on / 7 off, 10-hour shifts from Friday to Thursday, 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate care to patients in Spokane County, WA and surrounding areas. You will work primarily in home care settings, focusing on improving the quality of life for patients with terminal illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding illness and care options.
• Perform regular patient visits and maintain detailed documentation in the electronic health record.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Manage hospice eligibility and compliance with Medicare regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of skilled hospice nursing experience.
• Experience with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) system.
• BLS certification required.
• Current valid RN license in Washington or compact state.
